I submitted my 485 on July 12 and I got an 08/05 LUD on my pending I-140. Could be coincidence or they checked my 140 as part of the initial 485 processing...

definitely your entry should be deneid, you are not uncapale to solve your domestic problem, how come you are going to do good to this country by getting GC. (I agree these people are not good as you, but before they start domestic voilence there are on citizen/GC (either one of them),

you may not get much ifnormation from Infopass - you can go for infopass for issues like FP or Name check status or similar things.
Well Don't don't assume that "pre adjudicated" means everything with the case is over and the ONLY factor is visa number unavailability.
Pre adjudicated means - things are fine as of now.
not being cynical but pre adjudicated , in my opinion , really means its preadjudicated only at the time it was preadjudicated:D..esp with all hte goof ups happening these days

Hello,
I too have the same problem, have sent the documents for filing I-485, mostly it will be filed before 17th Aug 2007. My passport is expiring on Dec 2007. I had sent it for renewal.
Will that be ok to file I-485 with old passport which would be expiring in Dec 2007?

Online updates are sometimes late. There are cases of people getting their green cards last year in the visa bulletin fiasco with no online updates. You should not rely on that. Your friend needs to get your attorney to act on this ASAP and sort it out. After all if you don't know why it was rejected you have no chance to rectify it.

the fact that there were so many EAD applicants through June/July - the workload will be very high on USCIS so everyone will file at the earliest ie proposed 120 days prior to expiry.

Here is where I am -
Make Your Appointment with INFOPASS -> "Please select Kind of Service you need"
I have these many options - which one should I choose?
1. You need Service on a case that has already been filed
2. You are a new Permanent Resident and have not yet received your Permanent Resident Card
3. You want to file an application in person
4. You need information or other services
5. You need a form

What I am asking is "what does processing date mean"?
Does it mean that they have started working on my application?

but we received an RFE Yday forwarded from my old address which I moved out 1 year ago and filed AR11.
also the RFE stated that there is no G28 representation on our case and worst thing was online status is still pending.
We had lost 13 valuable days because of address they used in RFE.

I am in ROW, EB2 if they processed the interfiling, EB3 if not, with a PD of Dec 2002, and receipt date of 5 May 2007.
My application was filed with Nebraska Service center, they moved to Texas (with SRC* receipt number), they moved back to Nebraska in October 2007.
Even on EB3 my PD is now current.
When they passed 60 days late according to processing times I raised a service request. They claim that they have 45 days to respond. Their 45 days will be up on Thursday, and I still have no response.
So here is my plan...
On Thursday call again. Raise another service request?
Make an Info pass appointment ? - not sure IO could tell me more in person than over phone.
On Thursday go see Congressman's office.
Come May 2008 (one year since filing I485) if there is still no suitable reply to service request file WOM. Their lack of response to service request should annoy the judge hopefully.
When I last spoke with an IO she thought that the notice date on the transfer notice was the processing date to use (Oct 2007) not the receipt date on it (May 2007). I believe she is plain wrong, and she was silent when I asserted that I believed she was wrong, and that's why the original receipt date is kept on the transfer notice. If someone has a link to the USCIS rule on this it would be helpful.
Any comments please?

Why are there two "Priority Date" columns?
There is onlly one. The other ones are for the notice date and receipt dates
